Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
       Thursday – November 2, 2006 – 5:45 pm

Present: Selectmen - Chairman, Conrad Dumas; Selectman, Aaron Kullgren; Selectman George Rainier
Selectman Dumas called the meeting to order at 5:45 pm

Appointments:
5:45 – John Halper – Mr. Halper presented the new Capital Improvements Plan (CIP), the plan is very well written and discussion followed.  Selectmen received a hard copy of the plan and will review it, if they have any questions they will report to the
6:30- Recycle Committee –
7:18 – In accordance with RSA 91A:3 II (c) motion by Selectman Dumas to enter into a non-public session.  Seconded by Selectmen Rainier & Kullgren.  All in favor – Unanimous
8:00 – Motion by Selectman Dumas to come out of the non-public session and to further seal the minutes.  Seconded by Selectmen Rainier & Kullgren.  All in favor – Unanimous
Decision:   Upon proof of this family making arrangements for a forbearance agreement & credit counseling, the check for financial assistance will be released.
Other Business:
·       P/R approval
·       Minutes – Selectmen accepted the minutes of 10/19/06 with minor punctuation changes, they further accepted the minutes of 10/26/06 as written
·       Dodge Road Culvert – The Road Agent spoke with CLD Engineering, they will take care of all permits etc., however the project will not be able to be completed until May.  They will apply for any/all grants etc.
·       Catch Basin @ Carbees - The deeds were closely reviewed, it has been determined the lot dimensions for the Industries include the catch basin.  The area where the catch basin is not the responsibility of the town.  A letter will be sent to Mr. Carbee explaining the lot dimensions in detail.
·       RFP Auditing services – Selectmen to opened the RFP’s for Auditing Services.  Two Auditing firms responded out of 7 requests, they were Mason & Rich; Vachon & Clukay.  Selectmen will review them over the week and make a determination of which firm will be awarded the bid at the November 9, 2006 Selectmen’s Meeting.
·       TD Banknorth – The Administrative Assistant reported that she met with George Dow, the new Greenfield representative for TD Banknorth.  Mr. Dow discussed looking into ways to better invest the town funds; higher interest rates will be reviewed, as will different types of accounts.
·       Economic Development – Tuesday November 8, at 10:30 am, Ricia Velasco will meet with the Administrative Assistant to discuss the future Economic Development of the Town.  Any Selectmen that are able to attend this meeting are welcome to attend, as are any Planning Board members.
With no further business the Selectmen adjourned the meeting at 9:00 p.   The next scheduled meeting will be Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 5:45 pm
